![]() >How does Lovecraft stuff tie in this this game? I know a lot about Lovecraft lore, and I got that "Alice" was actually Nyarly, but what about the others? Also why do people keep talking about moronman, does the cat actually show up/do something or is it just a catch-all term for Lovecraft stuff? moronman was the name of Lovecraft's cat. Thats it though I guess, I'm sure the DLC has more answers but I'm just kinda done honestly. I do have some questions about this whole thing though: >How does Lovecraft stuff tie in this this game? I know a lot about Lovecraft lore, and I got that "Alice" was actually Nyarly, but what about the others? Also why do people keep talking about moronman, does the cat actually show up/do something or is it just a catch-all term for Lovecraft stuff? >On the note of cats, what the fuck is the Chershire cat exactly? > How are you supposed to know about the whole "MC is a bunch of writers" thing? I got the part where Lewis finds peace and leaves you but I really don't get most of this shit or why the fuck anything is even happening. Do Leaf/Bill have any role in the DLCs? Those are the only things I care about really. ![]() ![]() Honestly though I'm not really sure that I even want to continue, I don't like the idea of doing another big grind. >finished all the main non-DLC endings of BS2 >try to look up how to get into the DLC >can only find one about a boat in the Caroll river, boat doesn't spawn for me >99% sure I have the DLCs installed because some of the DLC portraits are in the game's files and Mabel is around ![]() There isn't much of noteworthy in my gear, mostly used Andor for buff turns (Ominibless and King's Order), Hans and Beastsaw for TCO phase 1 and King's Knight Sword, Guardian Bunker and Jabber Scythe for Phase 2, lot's of Pocket Watches though. Poked around the Chaos Dungeon a bit, but only for farming some Mystery Shards and whatnot, purposely avoid it so i could leave all the DLC stuff for after the Ending G, same reason i didn't do explore Cthulhu Bikino Bottom much. Why should i rush for it? Thought it would be better to leave it for later, since it's the hardest part and all that By Oxward you mean that place after Upper Lutwidge or LE MOON? Already fucked around the university, but didn't saw much besides the Lewis memory and spanked Alice's father, there is more? Game's kino, but i do enjoy things more if I take a breather between I see, still, part of me thinks is better to take my time, not only as to absorb a bit more of the non-DLC3 content, as the other anon said, but as to not cause a burnout. Then again, I'm coming from the perspective of someone that played DLC 3 when it first released and did another cycle to experience all of the new content added to it before starting it. Personally, I think it is best left for later. >Why should i rush for it? Thought it would be better to leave it for later, since it's the hardest part and all that I got filtered early into DLC3 since I didn't want to use my brain, then took around a year break from the game, and by the time I got back to clear it a week ago I had forgotten really basic details like Node being the White Queen so a lot of it sailed over my head. I'd also recommend going directly for ending H while everything is still fresh in your mind, or at least not taking too big of a break.
